logo - height and width?

Hello,

if I use a logo for my website it always looks diffuse. I think it is because of some resize functionality.
To get a clean logo - what to do? I tried 98x98 pixel, 120x120 pixel and so on but it doesn’t work. Same for the author information.

Logo in this template is using a Gravatar images which is 120x120, but You may replace it in template configuration. Can I please see Your site to know if I'm explaining a correct case ?
