After K2 UPDATE Menue Crashed

Hello,
after the Updade from K2 2.7.0 to 2.7.1 our Menue structure complete crashed. Most of the entrys are lost and not possiblity to
reconstruct over the Backend. We check the menu options in the template manger too.
Look into the pictures Please. Before and After.
It was fine you have any fix for that.

I think this is a bug in K2. I have experienced it as well, but in my case it was just one menu link disappeared, so I'm simply created it again. Unfortunately this bug is in database, so some of the menu elements may be affected. Please contact K2 support, they may know how to deal with it already.

Bad news,
K2 Support dont can fix the menu Problem after Update to a new Version of K2.
It must be a Template Issue. With other Templates K2 Update and the Menu works fine.
K2 copy a complete mirror of our Page over Akeeba and check all. Database entries and more
Now we will change the Template "Writer" to a other Garvick Template without K2.
If you have any Idea, please let me know.

Template has nothing to do with menu. It does not have a database table on it's own. K2 stores multiple elements in database, so during update some tables are altered. I do not know exactly which one, and what changes are done, but I've already experienced same issue couple of times and it was with a templates from different providers. (For example: I maintenance a website based on T3 framework and after every K2 update Contuct Us link is missing).
The only way I've dealt with it was by adding this missing menu elements again.
Template has nothing to do with menu. It does not have a database table on it's own. K2 stores multiple elements in database, so during update some tables are altered. Jepp i know 
Here my Workflow to fix the Issue.
Backup of my site with Akeeba.
Reinstall with akeeba on a new URL to run tests.
-In this way i do update to php 7
Make a copy of my menu_table with phpadmin and download the copy to my PC
Install the new K2 Version and take a look
Same result (Shi....)
Delete the menu_table from the new database
- import the old copy of my menu_table
- Browser reload
works !!!
In the working domain i update to the newest K2 version
- delete the now exist menu_table
- import the saved menu_table
works !!!

So that's just confirmed what I was thinking. K2 update is changing menu_table. Good to know old table still works with newest joomla. Thank You.
