Updating theme version 1.6 to 1.8.1

Hello,

I'm trying to update my Publisher theme from version 1.6 to 1.8.1, but the changelog only tell me what are the changes of the latest version. How can I find out the changes from 1.6 to 1.8.1?

I use a child-theme (Publisher-child) where I have all my customization: css, changes to some widgets, etc....it is safe to just replace the entire "publisher" folder in my server?

In updates section, select publisher_wp to display all updates with changelogs:
https://www.gavick.com/index.php?filter ... Itemid=399

Generally if you are using child theme, you can replace the Publisher parent directory, but firstly, please do a FULL backup.
