WPML media translation and GK Image Show

Following instructions posted elsewhere in the forum, I have created an image slider using GK Image Show.
My website is multilingual, the main language being Dutch.
After setting up WPML with media translation, GK Image Show will display only the English media translation in the slider. The image title is the same in Dutch and English, all fields (Caption, alt text and Description) are filled with text in the corresponding language (Dutch and English).
My "home" page is the lastest posts page, as by default.
Would it be wise to set static pages for home and blog to solve this problem? I would then have to rename media to e.g. slide01-nl, slide01-en in order to prevent the wrong texts to be displayed...

We are going to prepare some improvements for GK Widgets and WPML. For now a good solution is here:

You have to use widget logic plugin and 2 instance of GK Image Show widget and load it depending on the language. (you have to also duplicate your media to second language)

I am running into a similar issue with GK Image slide and WPML.
I am using Widget logic and have 3 instances for each language (Norwegian, Spanish and English) I have created images for each corresponding language. Added corresponding ALT Text, Caption and Description for each language. However it is the Enlish text which is shown on all of the slides.
What am I missing, thanks for your help.
