why can't i label a widget?????

This is very stupid of WP. Why can't I label a widget without having to use a title which displays it on the page. Keeping track of 5 Text widgets in the same area is very frustrating without labels. Could some one at WP please put in a label field into into widgets just below the title field so that I can tell which widget to edit without having to open 5 of them first???
