GK image show mystery

Hi guys,

1. Today I swapped some images over in the home page banner http://htlc.vic.edu.au/ and now the text over each image isn't showing up at all.

I've tried it on other pics and seems to work randomly on some but not with others. And definitely not the ones it needs to. I've tried uploading the same images with different names but can't get around this problem....

2. The background colour has also disappeared (you see it whilst loading but disappears once loaded) I noticed the same colour problem on the demo today too https://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/university/ but I can still see the text overlay on that.

Please help - trying to launch it and now this goes wrong...
