remove post commenting option

Hello,

My client doesn't require any user interaction and would like all post commenting options turned off. I've gone through all the settings but can not find where I am able to switch this option off. I know it has to be there somewhere...

Just to be clear, they only want to be able to add pages and posts themselves - no visitor interaction at all.

I could be wrong but I don't think this template uses K2.
And it's definitely not Joomla - is WP.

If it does - where do I access the settings shown in the documentation?
