Home menu item goes to the TRASH!

Hi; I've a strange issue; By updating my Joomla core to 3.7.2 version, my home menu item (Featured articles) goes to the trash automatically and even I try to change the status of this menu item to "Published" manually, It doesn't work!!! the status turn to the "Trashed"!

Could you please help me to solve?

I could fix this issue through the menu database modification in PHPMyADMIN. Regards

Yes, that's one of the solutions. Other solution is to delete existing menu elements and recreate it.

Unfortunately it's cased by some K2 issue in their update package. Not every website is affected by this bug, so it's impossible to figure out what is causing it exactly.
