I simply can't see frontend article editing option for Gavick Templates...
Yes I did go through other threads but still confused...
all I want is this little option so that the authorised user can edit articles and Please dont remove joomla core features

Hi,
About what template exactly you are talking ?
And second, about Joomla articles or K2 items you thought ?

Almost on all templates I cant find an option to edit a joomla article from frontend.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5K2lySm1GVPUlN1Z3RnbUdneEE/edit?usp=sharing < this template is from Joomlashine not Gavickpro.
^ Clear enough?

For example I tested on GK News2 - and I saw "edit" option under social icons for articles
and near module title
but sure I will ask our developer.
probably it will be fixed in templates for J3.3

I can also see "Module and Menu(non-gavick)" frontend editing but not Articles.

For example I've checked Gk News 2 and GK Game for J3.x
and I saw [edit] option inside all default articles.
and I saw [edit] option inside all default articles.

why it might be a problem?
because I saw that only " Show Icons" must be enabled if you want to show edit icon.
by the way check code
so there aren't any additional conditions to be fulfilled.

OK I have no idea what you said above but here are my settings
1)https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5K2lySm1GVPdjdkeWxxaHJUejA/edit?usp=drivesdk
2)https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5K2lySm1GVPUk5FTDZOYnFRYVk/edit?usp=drivesdk
I can only see edit button only when I turn Email or Print = ON; which is not the case for Joomla Default and Joomla Art so its the issue with Gavick.

Why I see and you do not, that is a question?
Like in Shakespeare tragedy.
Maybe I have to see your page (back-end) to tell more.

I strongly suggest to check access date before you will send me next time.
p.s.
Since today we have Joomla 3.3 RC - did you checked it features about front-end edit mode?

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem with the Storebox template.
No edit (button or text) if print or edit button is set to off (show icons to on).
So do you have found a solution or workaround ?
Thanks very much

Hi, I hope someone read my post 1 year later: On "Steak House" Template I can`t see any icons or any about "Edit"?? I can edit modules - that`s fantastic, but why must I change the "Editor none" to write on modules? So the modules edit don`t help, when my customer have to learn html code to change the posts. Is there anything else to edit modules and articles easier on frontend? thx (www.baeckerei-schlomann.de)
