Swapping Image for Video In Article Header?

How would one make the top header image in the k2 article view play a video, rather than show an image? I'm not afraid of using custom code, but I'm not sure how I'd achieve this with the template (nor have I been successful in simply removing the image from the article view, while keeping it in the front page slideshow.)

Any help would be amazing!

All the code for this page is in /html/com_k2/templates/default/item.php

I would use media tab from K2 and replace the image You have there right now. Unfortunately it's a little too big customisation to be supported here on forum, so I will not be able to help more.
