how to make the search image clickable

Hello all,
I love the search box in this template and use it without problem but some people are really completely stupid.
My client told the search box is not working because when clicking on the image, nothing happened. And yes nothing happens. But by hitting return it works of course. She fears that other people be as stupid (she did not say that, just said that customers could have the same problem !).

What would be the code to have the image clickable in order to submit the search ?
I hope somebody can help. ( I do not want to add another button, just transform this image as a submit button).

Hi,
I had this same case ... so I know your "pain".
In most templates search module was overridden by GK template, html/mod_search
and do not forget you can use normal graphic search button - a default option in search module.
I think that having above info you can start customize this object.

But if you're too "lazy" ... you can always use alternative search module, maybe with Ajax effect
in google find blog post: "How to Improve Search Results Page in Joomla 3.4"
