How would one display these using the "GK Stock" module?

Hi
Please read the respective HelpFile.
It's perfectly explained there.
Basically, the line structure while setting each company is:
INDEX:COMPANY,FULL_NAME;
So, where will you put NASDAQ?
Cheers

That really is not an adequate response. The instruction manual tells you to enter the data in this manner:
Exchange:Stock_Symbol,Company_Name:
So where would you enter the NASDAQ Index or the Dow Jones Industrial Average or the S&P 500? These are not really traded on an exchange and do not have a company name so to speak.
Here's the answer -
Google substitutes the exchange data for each using the following: INDEXDJX INDEXSP INDEXNASDAQ Basically, each has its own exchange data.
The symbols are preceded by a . So, it's .DJX .INX .NDX
The complete entries are as follows:
INDEXDJX:.DJI,Dow Jones Ind. Avg.;
INDEXSP:.INX,S&P 500 Index;
INDEXNASDAQ:.NDX,NASDAQ 100 Index
I noticed someone else had posted asking how to access the FTSE. It's done the same way.
INDEXFTSE:.FTSE,FTSE 100;
The fact is the instructions do not address indices, currencies or futures but only stocks.
Now, could someone figure out how to get currency data into this from Google? Google does not substitute an exchange for EURUSD etc.
PS. The foregoing will cost you 8GPB after today. Cheers to you.

Using the above mentioned strings I can only display Dow Jones and S&P 500 but not the Nasdaq.
If I try to relate this to the german DAX however, it only shows the name of the index, but no data will load into the chart ( shows the chart as always loading?)
I have written it like this (maybe its wrong, so please check anyone
INDEXDJX:.DJI,Dow Jones Ind. Avg.;
INDEXSP:.INX,S&P 500 Index;
INDEXDB:.GDAXI,DAX;
... without the last index, the 2 remaining show fine...
any solution for that?

Try this - INDEXNYSE:DAX.SO,DAX
Not sure if it will work because I have temporarily removed GK Stock from the site I am working on.

Please pay attention to the format of data used.
In first case:
should work.
In second case there is lack of semicolon.

You should place in module the same query which you use to search your indexes in Google Finance

Hello,
I've tried to find the appropriate thread, so perhaps you can help. How would you list precious metals (gold, silver, etc.) I've tried COMEX: GC, Gold; with no luck.
Thanks in advance.
