if he don't have it.... use alternative social plugin or module. It will be quicker than customizing current extension.

About validator errors, it depends what kind of...
because don't forget that it doesn't really support HTML5 tags yet.

In most cases you have to check which one are connected with Gavick products or additional extensions.
