iOS bug causes mobile menu to scroll to top

The Simplicity fixed mobile menu icon automatically scrolls to the top of the page when tapped, rather than displaying the menu. According to this post:

this is caused by an iOS bug which you've provided a fix for in the Simplicity Joomla template.
As this makes the menu unworkable on iOS devices any chance you could do the same for the WordPress theme?

Great, any idea when that will be? I'm finishing up a site for a client that I've invested a lot of time in and a malfunctioning mobile menu isn't an option. A couple of weeks isn't a problem, but longer than that and I'll be in trouble!
