I've added the correct google analytics code in the template but my site still says no hits?

Try use the code they gave You directly in /layout/block/head.php file and remove the key entered in template configuration.

Most probably Google Analitics has changed their API and template is not adjusted to it yet. I've already informed programmers to look into it.
