Editing the article heading / image overlay

I looked for an answer to this before posting but couldn't find one.
In Rockwall for 3.2, the article image has, by default, the heading of the page overlaid on it.
I would like to move the heading below the image or, at the very least, alter the max length of the heading and eliminate the shaded background. I can't find an area of the admin to edit this.
