Hi,
it depends what error message you have after 1064 error.
But in most cases :
0) Install new current version of NSP GK5 (re-install)
1) Open module in edit mode
2) Click Refresh button in your browser
3) Change data source to another from list
4) Change order of showing items
5) Save changes - check on front page
6) If okey, change data source back to option which you have at the beginning
You have J3.3 or J3.4 ?

sorry for this NSP issue, but I hope in future version won't be again this error.
Happy to heard that is all okey now. Have a nice day/night.

Probably like others you have to wait until next GK5 module & template update.
Temporary solutions always will be temporary.
