Disable Comments On Individal Pages

I can't seem to work out how to disable comments made on specific pages (eg I want a static home page with various info that doesn't require a comments section).

I've tried setting the comments to "disabled" Page additional params, but the comments still show on the page.

I've noted there seems to be a GK comments widget, but cannot see this linked to any part of the page so can't see if I can change any part of this to achieve the desired results!

This field from "Page additional params" disables only comment count under the title. If you want to disable comment on specific page, please go to page quick edit screen and uncheck "Allow comments".
