Adding Icons/Links To GK Social Icons Widget

Hi,

Newbie to Gavick themes and to wordpress in general to I hope I've not missed anything too simply and obvious!!

I see its easy to remove unwanted icon by simply deleting the link from the widget settings. However, I need to have additional links (youtube, vimeo etc).

I found that I could make changes manually in the widgets.social.php file and create a new box that appears in the widget settings so I can add a new link. However this seemed to take a lot of time as there are a number of lines I had to re-add to mirror what was shown for one of the the current links. Is this the only way of doing this or is the a simply solution that I've missed?

Also, I've not managed to work out where to save the icons I would like to use so that, for example, it shows a youtube icon I've uploaded rather than a text link saying "youtube".

Generally there's no additional icons and option to simply add other icons into social widget. You'll have to add e.g. font awesome icons into the Publisher: https://www.gavick.com/blog/add-use-font-awesome-icons/
or change the existing image of the icons: http://www.gavick.com/demo/wordpress/pu ... _icons.png

add links into the widget code and add proper css.

I think that it will be easier to use other 3rd party plugin with the social icons in the same social widget area.
