How to add a h1 tag on the homepage?

Bing webmaster SEO Analyzer tells me the h1 tag on the homepage is missing and that's an error I should fix. I suppose it was intentionally left out in the template design. What was the reason for this option? What do I have to do, to add one?

H1 is a page title You should have on frontpage. You can add that to any module positions using Custom HTML. Just use a HTML syntax like:
