#footer: modules side by side

I'm trying to set the modules side by side, but they set one under the other. Add code:
#gkFooter .custom {
    display: inline-block;
    width: 49%;
}
but nothing... please, help

I can't see any modules in footer part, except for menu which is side by side with it's options already. Can You please tell me exactly what should be positioned next to each other.
