after an entirely wasted day and a lot of lost work due to zero support from Gavick it appears the issue relates to the below update... how is it that a Gavick update would cause this issue ??
Name Install Type Type Version Folder Client URL Details
News Show Pro GK5
Update Module 1.9.2 N/A Site https://www.gavick.com/update_server/jo ... sp_gk5.xml

This is a problem with menu structure and lack of landing pages for articles. Please read this article to learn how to solve it: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/qu ... s-working/

There was no issue with the links until after I updated the 'News Show Pro GK5' extenion. Immediately after i experienced issues. I had to revert the site back to original settings as I couldn't determine the issue. I have not updated News Show Pro GK5 on this occasion and there are no issues...

Hi
I haven't seen a response ? I have raised a critical error here which you have dismissed. Can you look into this and correct the new extension release?

Hi
I could not answer faster because of the bumps. Every new post in thread is changing the last activity time and pushing the thread to the end of the line.
Please send me an access to joomla panel and FTP so I'll check if it was not the lack of landing pages as I suspect and if not than I'll fix it and send the solution to programmers to update module packages.

Hi
Sorry, but I could not locate the issue. I'm clicking through all the links on frontpage and I'm always being redirected to a different page with article. Which link should I try exactly ?

Hi
I'm sure I did, but just updated it again and clicked couple of links. Again every link opens a different page for me. Please take a look: http://g.recordit.co/H00H1LnJIy.gif

very strange that it is working... i am very reluctant to update that extension however as i am terrified that it will cause the same issue again and a lot of work will have been lost

Hi
I understand. You can stay with this version if it works, but I would advice to make a copy of a website just to have it for testing extensions.
