widget area stopped working - bottom of page error

Hi,
The site seems to have encountered a few errors as late - I have checked all plugins to see if there is an issue.

The widgets area is now unaccessible - also at the bottom of the site an error message appears

Fatal error: Call to a member function attributes() on a non-object in /home/busine91/public_html/wp-content/themes/News2/gavern/widgets.weather.php on line 298

and also the bottom menu has stopped appearing.

Hi,

Do you have the latest version of News2 theme? It looks like a problem with weather widget (The weather API was changed, so please update your theme)

yes, i've updated theme and the error remains - do you have a solution?
