Nav Menu Dissappears after scrolling

I installed the News 2 template to an existing site and rebuilt all the modules. I am having a problem with the the Nav menu. If I disable the update, the Top Nav menu will disappear once you scroll down. It goes to the very top where you can barely see it.

Another problem is my left side bar is not showing up dark completely is seems the words are blocked out white.

Any help will be appreciated.

What is your template version? I remember that we've fixed this in one of the updates.

I have the latest version 3.11.3...just installed and downloaded on the 27 of August.
