Change Colour

I moved from Joomla to Wordpress.

http://ringnews24.com/joomla/

If you click on the above link and hover over the menus it adds a red block
&
if you hit Control A it turns things red.
&
If I highlight words it turns red.

How do I do this on Wordpress?
