In quickstart template UNIVERSITY is used module on frontpage for Eventlist from K2 category. I don't want use K2, I want use standard Joomla content. But when I switch DATA SOURCE to Joomla Categories, I see at frontpage only: ARTICLE TITLE.
But on original K2 Categories I see: DATE (in box), ARTICLE TITLE, When: 14 May 2016 @ 7:00 am and "progress bar".
How I can set this fields viewable for Joomla Content/Category ?

Hi
Im afraid some of this module styles works only with specific sources. Event style needs K2 extra fields to work, so it will not work with regular joomla articles.

I understand that not everything can be functionally identical. But even Joomla content has a date of creation, so why are there not appearing?

Hi
It's not appearing because it was not implemented. As I said it's was meant to be working with K2 only. I'm sorry, but we do not support implementing new functionalities for modules.
