Customize error page

How can I customize the error page on wordpress ?
I found nothing on the forum or the blog for wordpress.

Hello,

What exactly do you want to change? Error page content may be found within MusicState/404.php file.

Hi,
I want to delete category list and archive. I only want an error message and a link to homepage.
I'm blind, I hadn't seen the 404.php file !!
