Change Front Page Pictures

I installed gk_musicstate_quickstart.zip and having trouble changing Pictures on Front Page. I created the from scratch with a fresh data base and upload the musicstate demo theme. I did try using the widgets but didn't find the sec to upload pictures

Which pictures exactly do you mean? There's no section to upload pictures in frontpage widgets, because these images are taken from posts content or directly from text widget or from media library images (GK Image Show Widget).
Please provide more details and I'll try to help.
