Breadcrumbs on the main page and another language?

1. How to disable Breadcrumbs on the main page? Only on the main!
2. The template has a folder "languages" inside a file "Magazine.pot". I understand there is a possibility translate a template into another language? When I editing a file "Magazine.pot" nothing happens?

Hi,
1. To disable breadcrumbs on homepage you have to set "Conditional Breadcrumbs Display" option from Template Options -> Basic tab to "Conditional rule" and type this rule below: !is_home()
