Hi,
Deprecated: Non-static method JApplicationSite::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /customers/0/1/a/burenco.com/httpd.www/templates/gk_magazine/lib/framework/helper.layout.php on line 150 Deprecated: Non-static method JApplicationCms::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /customers/0/1/a/burenco.com/httpd.www/libraries/cms/application/site.php on line 279 Deprecated: Non-static method JApplicationSite::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /customers/0/1/a/burenco.com/httpd.www/templates/gk_magazine/lib/framework/helper.layout.php on line 150 Deprecated: Non-static method JApplicationCms::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /customers/0/1/a/burenco.com/httpd.www/libraries/cms/application/site.php on line 279
What can be done to fix this? I updated everything and also set error reporting on none, with no result
Hope you can help.
Thank you

Hi,
sorry, but we don't support PHP 5.6 yet in all templates,
and Magazine is quite old .... .
But sure I will ask developer what we can do with that
right now I suggest use PHP 5.5 version.
You don't have to Geek (Speedy Gonzales) all the time.

Hi Oscar,
What do you mean with you don't have to Geek all the time?
And webhost uses 5.6 now so update was their move , that is why this has become a problem. I don't think i can use 5.5 but could ask them to be sure.
Otherwise is there something i could do as a quick temporary fix?

Temporary fix , hmm...
only GK Developer can do this ....
And he is on travel to WP Conference. So probably on Monday you can get a solution.
I suggest to ask hosting for PHP 5.5 again.

I talked with developer he was in travel...
but he suggested to disable display notices, deprecated and strict standards
you can ask your hosting support how to do this in right way on their (and your) server.
I'm not PHP developer so I only wrote what I got from him.
