can I use video in my works section on the frontpage?

I have another question.
how do I set the to menu order, I tried the navigation option but the top menu order stayed without any change, I need to update the links and anchors on this.

I am not an authority to give this but, you may try this was successful on my site...

1) Make a STANDARD POST, and embed your video in it.
2)Then goto widget area, then below MAINBODY
3)Under basic settings select the category of the post (STANDARD POST we created for video embed)
4)Under Widget Layout -.> select Video List
5)In Video list option select Number of page = 1 & article per page = 1
6)SAVE

you will have A video under "my hot works"
