How to deactivate or remove the intermediate step?

Hello guys,

on the second page of this theme it says "check out my hot works". If I click on the first image (the man with a green jacket), the image appears in a bigger format, but in order to read the text belonging to this image, I need to click again on the image. So in total two steps to obtain the text....My question now: Is there any possibility to deactivate or remove this intermediate step, hence, having just one step? Thus, just clicking on the small image and the image appears in that big format immediately with the text .. It is quite annoying and not really user-friendly to click again in order to get the text....

I hope you guys can help me with that. I would be really happy!

Please check your widget settings, (News SHow Pro -> Portfolio OPtions -> deactivate "Overlay popup" option).
