Front page not updating

I changed the header 1 post but the homepage didn't change with it.

Any idea what might be happening here?

First off, thanks, DZ - I super appreciate it.

Second off, I discovered that editing the widgets section changes the home page - this fixes my original problem. The Header1 post does seems to be identically formatted. Where does this display if not the homepage and do I need to worry about keeping it identical to the widget content?

For me it seems that this article is unnecessary - I'll report this problem to our developer who implemented this theme.
