Can't edit the header widget

Hi,

I've encountered a strange problem - I can't edit the Header 1 widget anymore. Everytime I try to edit the section that contains the text "Hello! My name is John", the background image disappears. Fortunately I had made a back-up so I could revert to that, but everytime I try to edit (even if I'm just saving it, without making any changes), the bg image is gone... Any ideas what might be the problem?

Did you update WordPress to 4.8? It may be an issue with new text widget introduced in this version..
Could you send me a PM with your website backend access?

Yes, it's a problem with new text widget. The old (without the visual editor should be restored in the next WordPress version). As a temporary solution you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-text-widget/
