Hi

Now I understand. Unfortunately "header" module position was designed for a specific functionality, so it won't be easy to remove the style You can see there right now. It may be way easier to use a module position called "top1" or "top2" instead. It does not have any extra codding, so will act exactly line bottom1, etc.

Hi,

Can’t we modify :

#gkHeader {
background: #333;
background-size: cover;
-webkit-box-sizing: border-box;
-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
-ms-box-sizing: border-box;
-o-box-sizing: border-box;
box-sizing: border-box;
min-height: 250px;
overflow: hidden;
position: relative;
}
#gkPageWrap { margin: 0 auto; }

Hi

If this will work for You than no problem, but please rememeber that this module position is specific and most of the module functionality is disabled there, so if You are planing to use elements like: module title, module background, etc than I would recommend do use top1 or creae a new module position replacing this one.
