Can't change number of products in a row in category view

Hi,
I've been working in my website and I don't know exactly when, but I can't seem to change the number of products in a row in category view. It doesn't matter what I define in virtuemart configuration, it only shows one product.

I already replaced the template and virtuemart folders (both frontend and administrator) but the problem persists...
I also made a quick installation in a different folder so I could copy virtue mart settings but had the same result.

What else could be causing this?...
Could you please help me? I'm going crazy...

Solved. When migrating the categories from a different virtue mart version, it assumed "1" for each individual category settings. I corrected all directly in database.
