No images after upgrade from 2.5.28 to 3.4.6

Hi,

I'm in the process of upgrading a customers site, and have upgrades Joomla from 2.5.28 to 3.4.6.
Also I upgraded mod_image_show_gk4 to ver. 1.53 just downloaded on your site.

However - when the images try to load, we just get a grey box (using gk_cherrydesign as style) and the following js error is thrown:

Code: Select all: Timestamp: 18/12/15 14:22:07 Error: TypeError: newImg.injectAfter is not a function Source File: http://localhost:8888/heerup/modules/mod_image_show_gk4/styles/gk_cherrydesign/engine.js Line: 32

Any suggestions as to how we resolve this? Currently the site is hoted on a local computer, but I will transfer it to a development server, it you need to have a look online?

Hi

Have You tried with a different module style ? Cherrydesign is pretty old, so I bet javascript library doesn't add up anymore. Please try using Quark and let me know if it works or send me an access to joomla panel so I'll make some tests myself.

Hi,

Yes - I tried a few other styles, and some works and some dont. But Quark is one of the ones that works...
We would however, like to have sort of the same style as we have with the J2.5 site (see http://www.heerup.dk). But what I hear you are saying between the lines, is that there are styles in there, that will not work on never platforms?

I'll send you a pm with credentials if you would like to have a look.

I have same problem on my site after updating to 3.4.8 via ftp.
The grey square and nothing more. If I chage module style, no grey square but slides not display as spected.

I tried to reinstall module but it did not fix the problem

Hi

Looks like a javascript conflict. Please try fix the errors comming from Virtuemart:

ReferenceError: Virtuemart is not defined
Virtuemart.addtocart_popup = '0' ;

try play with VM file settings.

Also login with facebook app is showing an error that app was not configured properly in domain area. This is not likely stopping slider, but it's making another website element not work right now.
