Category layout pushes modules underneath

My category blog layout is pushing modules in the right position underneath it. I've checked this on a vanilla install and it's the same. I've used Barrat's fixes posted elsewhere but it makes no difference. It seems as if the right div in included within the main content div rather than outside it as elsewhere.
Surely someone else has experienced this problem?
Any help appreciated.
Web Server: Apache/2.2.6 (Fedora)
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.7 Production/Stable [ Wovusani ] 9-September-2008 23:00 GMT
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6

Despite giving as much detail as I could and being a paying customer I had to hire a programmer to fix an issue with this template. Nice work Gavick support.

Here is my URL to the problem;
I have published the right module in the right position, but it shows up underneath. This is the blog of the zoo component, published in a category layout.
Here is same problem in a default joomla category blog layout
Joomla; 1.5.10

Hi,
question is what have you done with template code? Because there is error inside that is causing it. If you did nothing to code, it can be also caused strange server configuration (I have seen many weird stuff from different server config).
If you get same result woth original template without modding, write me over Skype and I can have a look.
Edit: why is everywhere in your source code following:

Hmm, I don't think I have done something in the template code, but I have changed colors and so in the css.
About the font, I think I have done so to the text in the joomla editor
I can try to upload templatefiles, and see if I am to blame for this mess

Hi
I see that you are using the Yoo ZOO Catalog extension... If you didn't change any structural code of the template, maybe it from this extension...
Cheers

This issue with this template is related to the customised category blog file. I can't remember the details but a div was nested incorrectly in this file I think

I deleted my blogpost in my zoo blog and created new ones, that made right module come back in right place. I do have the same issue with my other category layout(not zoo), but I don't really need that to work. Not for now anyway.

I am having the same issue. And have not been able to figure it out.
Could someone please help.
Example of page with error: http://www.scsdonline.com/fiscal-servic ... nager.html
The "Records Menu" should be located on the right, in the space, but it drops it down to under the main content.
Thank you in advance.

Hi
It's a validation error. Please check the html code of the content and see if every tag has a closing tag.

Thank you for the help. Looks like it is directly related to the layout specifics in "templatehtmlcom_contentcategoryblog_item.php". I just renamed that "blog_item.php" to "blog_item.php.BAK" and now everything displays ok. Weird. All those errors must be in the blog layout file. Does anyone know if Gavick or someone else has corrected/fixed this file in the iLife template?
PS. I looked at the content, and there are no special tags in it.
Updated link: http://scsdonline.com/dev/fiscal-servic ... nager.html
Validation shows no errors now.

Hi
I believe this template will be recoded to T3 framework someday so right now it's not being fixed.
