Sub Menu Problem

On the main menu, a number of the items have sub menu items. Some of these sub menu items also have sub menu items of their own. The problem is, when trying to select one of these sub sub menu items, the full drop down retracts and you can't select it. Could you please help? On Joomla 3.4.8. I have attached a screenshot of the type of drop down - the items to the right can't be selected.
