Hi

I would like to display swiffy outputs on my site

swiffy converts flash to HTML5 and CSS

I paste the code into an article and it does not appear until the link to page artcle has been clicked - when using gknews

when I paste into html it is ok for a while then when I use jce is disppears.

I really want to put it into rockspocket as well as I need a responisve slide show but when I add the article with code in it noting appears.

Can you help?

By default Joomla! content editor strip code when it is inserted directly in art source. You should add code to article pages by modifying template files. Layout for single article item you can find in root/templates/gk_templatename/html/com_content/article/default.php file.

The code i have added is for an animation. I have several I would liike to add to different articles and then display these articles in a gk slider or in gk news.

I cant see how your solutions would solve this issue.

I can add code to a spcialist module that accept js and php and live code

But

GKnews does not display modules only articles.

so can you suggets an alternatove method.

The content can be added with sourcer but when I display the page via gk news module

yes the lnk was 404

I remove the work as it froze the site... i coud harldy leave it there..

if you can answer the question and help that woudl be great.. if you have any idea why it removes the scroll bar thanks I woudl love an answer.

I do not need to leave a page with no scroll bar on my site to show you it has not scroll bar..
yes I did publish the plugin.. it you read the post I made I said that i had it working... that woud not have happened if i had made such a basic error.

I am getting tectchy becuase I am tryign to get help wiht complex issues and it seems when the person has nto idea they throw it back to me as if I have made some basic dumb mistake.. :shock:

For what it's worth, I've been able to get Swiffy content (Flash converted to HTML5) on our Joomla 3 site by uploading the output HTML file on our server, then inserting iFrame code within an article that calls the dynamic content into play. It's not the optimal method yet it works fine. I'd prefer to serve Flash to those who can view it, and have an alternate page / module to display the HTML 5 version for mobiles and IOs devices like iPhone or iPad.

In regards to the OP (original post) above, I'm using the JCE editor and have it configured NOT to strip (fix or clean) code from articles yet that will not work due to the method in which swiffy provides the converted Flash content. The majority of any swiffy output is javascript placed within the <header> tag combined with a snippet of code in a <body> tag, which causes conflicts for me.
