Installation of quickstart fails

The installation of the quickstart for Gk_Game fails to complete. It builds the DB and then returns to the screen to do the final install again. It will not create the configuration.php file and end the installation. Installation is on a localhost. I could try in a sub-domain if you think that would be better?
Any idea why?

It did install in a subdomain - https://gkgame.jdevtech.com but none of the graphics display.

Hi

Please check permissions on folders, it should be 755 or try download and install it one more time.
