Tabs Quark style to other template

Hello,
I have the John template installed, and i like to use the nice effect of the Tabs as i see in the Quark default template. However, it seems the Quark suffixes (e.g. "transparent-tabs box-wide clear") doesn't work in my template. Is there a way to make it? Thank you.

Yes, but it is beyond our technical support to provide complete solution.
You can use chrome dev tools/firefox firebug to probe for style definitions and port them to override.css file of desired template.
