I'm following the config details for the header module, but cannot a background image to load. (See attached screen shot.) Any thoughts on why that would be?

Hello,
The header module doesn't support the background image, because it uses the "none" chrome style for this module position.

So why there is an image in demo version?

The image is set as a background image in the template.css file for the frontpage page suffix.

In live demo of Events template there is a header module. Background picture which is in demo version disappeared.
When I edit module Header - there is in basic options "Select a Background-Image", but it doesn't work. Could you tell me please how to set background picture. I'm not a programmer, but it seams to me that in Header there is mixed files header_bg and uploaded image. (Joomla 2.5).

Did find: .frontpage #gkHeader {
background: url('../images/group-brainstorming.jpg') no-repeat center top;
background-attachment: fixed;
Changed the image url to the one i want in template.css
Changed the module suffix to "frontpage"
But still not showing...
My site is: webcampus.reservashotelesensanmiguel.com

Ok, I was setting it in the general images folder, now its set within this file that you point out... Now its working! Thanks for your support!

Hi, i have similar issue with this, i'am using Joomla 3.4.8
As you say in your Post, i have the image path in template.css and in documentation say we have to put in module configuration, but it show blank background and repeat logo.
Is a fresh Joomla install with Events Template.
I add an image where you can see the problem.
