Enabling module suffix variations in positions bottom1 to bottom8 and

Hi

I need som help on two things:

1) Can you tell me how to enable module suffix styling for positions bottom1 to bottom8?

Right now these modules don't accept any styling (putting the suffix does not make their look change, they are just plain white).


2) How do I change the dimensions or alignment of the tools area. I'm using just one module there (login) and the text (not in the module, but on the word "login" in the template) is aligned to the right and cropped in the end.
