Limit words in category view when selected more categories

Hi There,
Two questions...
1) I've created a new menu link to a K2 category page. When I select one category under basic options it's possible to limit the amount of words. But when I select more then one category it is not possible. Is there a solution for this problem?
2) Is it possible to change the background color of the header position and is it possible to change the width to 100% ?

1. This is the question to k2 support, but as far as I know it's not possible for more categories without code hacking
2. Tell me the url to the page with an example of such header.
