JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file.

Hey guys,

Ok, I have been trying to install the template (quick start), but the following error keeps coming up

Warning

JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file.
The Joomla package cannot be installed through the Extension Manager. Please use the Joomla! Update component to update Joomla.

I have searched the forum but nothing seemed to work with me. I then Installed all plugins manually and tried to install the template again.

Well, nothing worked. Any idea?

One thing I realised.

I uninstalled

gk_cloudhost_quickstart_J!3.zip
gk_cloudhost_J!3.zip


The first did not contain .XML while the later had .XML.

Quickstart is a complete copy of our demo, it contains joomla on it's own, so it should not be installed using joomla installer, but exactly same way as a joomla on it's own. Here an article about it: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... rt-package
