i can't open or do changes in modules

hi
i was trying to do changes in modules but get error...some kind of restrictions.
Check-out failed with the following error: The user checking out does not match the user who checked out the item.
You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page (#636).
please help me out ..thanks
