The Tabs in the Box Template Admin have disappeared

I have recently upgraded my Joomla instance to 3.7 and the Tabs for setting the Box Template parameters have disappeared in the Admin.

The "myTabTabs" list appears to be empty.

I also have the Quark template installed for a different section of the site. The Tabs for Quark are still displayed.

This is what I did before reporting the bug. I have the v.1.0.3.

Yes, backing up my customizations and updating the template was the first thing I tried. It did not fix the issue. I have also installed the "John" template and the tabs work.

I've just installed the template on my copy and it's fixed. Please try clear browser cache. I think Your sites are still using the old file.

If by some reason You are getting a packages with old files please add the fix manually:




Try to change the following line from /admin/scripts/js file:

Code: Select all

var type = items[i].split('=')[0].test(/^\d+$/) ? 'ItemID' : 'Option';

into:

Code: Select all

var type = !isNaN(items[i].split('=')[0]) ? 'ItemID' : 'Option';

Updating the .js file fixed the Tab issue for me.
