Delete Author Information

Hi,
I can´t delete the author information at the end of the joomla articles. I´ve tried to solve the problem as usual by hiding in the general options for articles and also in the options of the single article. But there is still the information "By Super unser" under it, although it is on "hide". What is wrong?
I haven´t had this problem before.
