K2 installation problem

Hello everyone,
when I install K2 (v. 2.6.9) in Joomla 3.3.6, gives me the following error:

error 1146
Table '83f9ce525_9fe1ac.dbm_k2_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `dbm_k2_categories`

can you help me?

Hi,
1) but K2 still works or not?
2) This error was on front-end or in back-end?

Message said that there is a problem with K2 category.

As you might know we are not developers of K2 component, so I suggest to check on their project website, probably you're not alone with this issue.

1) No, k2 does not work, because the installation is not completed successfully
2) The error is in the backend during the process of intallation

1) Try to install older version first.
2) Then here: administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=database - click Fix

On my sites I just upgraded from old to new without problems.
